I was watching an old eighties movie with my hubby, as we normally do when he picks the movie, and in the movie came a thought I was very much interested in.
"No one wins a fight."
Interesting food for thought.
I am a mom who is learning to adapt everyday to the challenges of raising two daughters.

"No one wins a fight."
Man, I've been thinking about this one ever since you posted it. Personally, I agree with the quote. I don't think that a fight is ever completely satisfied or 'won'. Allowances, concessions and compromises are usually made in the way towards peaceful living. But I think a winner is declared very rarely.
I have often wonder if God ever declares a win when someone gives their life to him. He is in constant battle with Satan. If this statement is true, neither satan nor God wins. How true that is right now. Will God win? I believe so. That being said, I think the statement is only true to humans. God will win it all eventually.
I don't know if that made any sense. Sorry!
Hey there, nothing to be sorry about. When I was thinking about it, I was thinking in terms of the human 'fights' we tend to have.
In the spiritual realm though, yeah I definitely think God declares a win every time someone gives their life to Him. And when all is said and done, He will be the ultimate winner.
Jollybeggar gave me a quote, and it goes hand in hand, with the whole satan vs. God battle..."satan can't hurt God, so he goes after us to get to God."
Very true that the statement ultimately is only true to humans...Praise God for that one!
